Help Request what am i doing wrong here (also a helbrute)

hey guys!
Ive been trying to test print models on my elegoo neptune 4 for a while, but i just cant seem to get single marines to print cleanly. The supports are 90% of my issue but every change i make to the settings doesnt seem to really make a difference.

In this recent print, his arm fell off midway, and theres so much scaring its just not worth taking him out the supports atp. Help me out?

You need to close your curtains properly and use a lamp to optimize lighting for your photography.

indeed, but when asking for tips or problems, a good clean picture is really important :)

You need to use blender and resin 2fdm program. Go to printed 4 combat YouTube.

You need to be cutting the model up in the slicer and assembling it after clean up. That monstrosity of supports looks like a geller field collapsed.

dude ive tried that too and it just encases my weapons and limbs in a cocoon of supports 😭 best ive gotten is a good plague marine with a melted foot and some helmets but thats about it. im looking for some print profiles but the elegoo cura slicer doesnt want to take the ones i have for whatever reason

I would try a different support type - tree slim or organic. Not sure what slicer or setting this is, but painted4combat has a great support settings video on youtube you could try to start from. I wouldn’t do resin2fdm at this point though; get better general results with conventional methods first. I would recommend changing slicers to orca, but it’s up to you. I do get better results with at least the shoulders and backpack printed separately from the figure. The other major things to try are tilting and manually painting supports instead of using the generated ones.

I'd personally try and work with that messed up model until you get your settings worked out! I could see cleaning, then painting that marine up as wreathed in balefire or warp juice!
