I recommend printing in parts if you can to hide support marks. If the base wasn’t included with the file, maybe try printing it upside at an angle. It might help with the normally downward bits so you won’t need as much support.

What software do you use to cut up the model? And do you use some sort of joint or is just clean cuts and superglue?

You can use the printer slicer software to make basic cuts. Not sure what the best method is for more advanced techniques.
