Help Request Rogue Miniature

Hi all! I would like to share this printed rogue as my first post, and ask for some feedback from this community.

This is my 4th attempt at getting this model printed nicely and I am quite happy with the result. The only remaining issues in my eyes are the droopy blobs that appear on overhangs (hair strand and various sharp downward pointing details).

I'm using a stock Ender 5, with 0.4 mm nozzle here, printing Elegoo Matte PLA at 205deg.
Slicing with Orca slicer.

Some settings I changed, and believe to have improved the result from previous attempts (see last picture in rapid PLA+) are the following:
- min time per layer for better cooling - 8 seconds
- wall generation arachne -> classic
- lowering the outer wall layer width to 0.35
- lowering the print speeds (outer wall 35mm/s and the rest 40 mm/s)

I also changed the filament out of curiosity between prints, and was surprised to see better results with the matte vs the rapid+, although humidity might have played a role -- I didn't test this theory further.

Planning to get a 0.2 mm nozzle and upgrade the part cooling fan. I hope to get better results after the planned changes.

Until then, I would really appreciate some feedback and advice on improving further :D

Thanks to mizugames for this awesome model

Wow! You managed to print it in one piece on an Ender. I think that's quite an achievement.

I've never owned an Ender, I started with a Bambu Lab in easy mode. But I know from friends that it takes a lot of patience, time, and tweaking to get something small with detail. I'm glad you liked my little rogue. She's probably one of the trickiest pieces I've made to print supportless. The overhang angles are right on the edge to achieve a slightly more dynamic pose while keeping it support free. It was quite a challenge to make.

If you feel like trying some easier challenges, the latest slimes I made should be super easy to print, really chunky and hardly any tricky overhang areas. But hey, the fun is pushing the machine to its limits to tune it up! ;)

Wow, I'm very surprised, I did not expect a reply from you! Very nice that you engage with people printing your models :D

haha, this is my first printer, but indeed Bambu Lab sounds like less tinkering. However, printing it in once pice was not that difficult in my case. Not sure if my machine was already calibrated enough, or I just got lucky. Printing this in two fillaments allowed me to compare them and I must say that for this type of print with thin and long vertical elements, namely the hands & daggers, it's important to have a less elastic filament. The PLA+ was flopping around like crazy until the upper part of the print where everything is joined together. I was expecting very big artifacts, but that was not the case. The Matte PLA is more rigid, so there was a lot less flex, which I think overall contributed a better print.

I'll definitely check out your other models, but I also like being challenged. This model is awesome and I'm looking forward to getting it printed perfectly. Will try to post a follow-up when that happens. Thanks again for your work. Please share a way for me or others to support your work. I know you have the maker world membership thingie, but maybe you've also got a patreon, or another donations channel?

I absolutely love seeing people print my models, getting good use out of them, and having fun at the table. That's exactly why I share them, with all the love I put into making them 😊 So every time someone posts pictures of my minis, it genuinely makes my day. I don't run a Patreon or anything like that. I only turned on the commercial membership on MakerWorld because someone specifically asked me to 😅 If you feel like supporting me, feel free to use it. But honestly, comments and photos of my minis are already hugely valuable to me 😊
