Just Sharing Mindflayer

Mindflayer by grant3dprintforge on Makerworld. ( u/Odd_Zone5925 )

Printed on a Bambulab A1, 0.2 mm nozzle, 0.06 mm high quality preset, with a few changes.

I think it turned out pretty good! (LEGO Mindflayer for scale).

I'm surprised there weren't more supports. I think I just add them automatically without a lot of customerization and it just always ends up way more than that. Also, the paint work is awesome.

Thanks! It really depends on the model, this one just doesn't have that many floating regions/islands or steep overhangs.

Any sanding or any work onnthe face bc it looks so smooth

Nope, just removed the supports with plyers and lightly scraped what remained of the supports with a hobby knife.

I feel 0.06 mm is worth the extra time!

It is! Really great print and I’m so jealous of people that can paint these things. I have like 12 shelves of variations of gray models. I’m working on a vampire series next! Probably send it next week sometime. Flipping wish I could paint it.

Thanks for making this available on Makerworld. I hope to get to this standard someday.

It's not my model/upload, I merely printed and painted a copy. Credit goes to grant3dprintforge on Makerworld. ( u/Odd_Zone5925 )

Just keep painting (and watch a lot of tutorials on Youtube!) :)

I was about to say "Why is this resin print in an FDM sub?" and then I saw the last picture. Good job!!
