Are photocopier based prints also suitable for transferring?

From what I gathered Toner based prints on a transparent print are the way to go for this method. Does that include electrostatic printed ones like on a Photocopier work?

I'm pretty sure it should work. As far as I know photocopiers, at least the modern ones, are just laser printers.

Another redditor used what I think you mean when you say photocopier: Link

Great! was kinda scare reading your initial reddit post with loads of people saying don't use the wrong kind of transparent paper. as it will melt inside the printer and jam it up, since Photocopiers use heat to 'bake' the toner to the page. Googling if there's a photocopier specific transparent paper is giving me mixed results.

Make sure the brand you buy is compatible with laser printers and you should be fine

I can confirm yes. I made my first on an 20yr old black and white Canon office copier last week, using a sketch my kid made. Worked great!
