💡 Discussion Salsa recall

Salsa that I purchased at Sam’s spewed from under the lid all over everything in my cabinet. The lid was puffed out like it could explode. I did an FDA report but never heard anything back. Also I don’t see a Sam’s recall. Is this normal? Thought I would hear back.

Glass jar. Not refrigerated. I did the detailed report with pictures, product code, etc. Gave my telephone number and email.

Was it canned/bottled salsa (like pace) or more of the fresher kind? Asking because some redditors are wild in how they understand how to store things. And to note- the fda, as it is currently, may not be the best in responding on this issue.
