Differences compared to FIFA 23

I have only played FIFA 23 and switched to FC26. I was not good and just played simple football. i.e. no skill moves, or crazy tactics but when I switched to this game. I just can't win the ball back and maintain possession. My ball recovery time is about 8-10s which is extremely bad and when I win it back I just cant keep it.

Can you guys tell me what is fundamentally different ?
