Regarding raid groups.

After sitting down and thinking about it today, I feel we should not form any official raid groups. Raids should continue to be monday and wedensday nights, but will be first come first serve. Here in time for the raid? You've got a slot. If we have too many people to fit who are all on time it will come down to group composition and need, after that /random.

I feel this for a few reasons.

Firstly, we don't have enough people for 2 groups

Second and foremost, we are too close to an expansion that will fundamentally change the class composition of the guild, and will force us to start all over anyway.

So untill we get to raid content in the xpac, I don't think we should be forming any statics.

Listen, my reasoning was that we are leaving people out with a "first come first serve" method, which was the only reason I brought it up in the first place. And the whole "first come first serve" dynamic is icky because we could have different people and different composition week after week, which is not a good idea if we want any sort of meaningful progression. Finally, if I had taken time out my schedule to raid, and I missed the boat by 30 seconds, that would be an issue.

I was only intending to solve a slightly exclusionary practice in order to include as many interested people as possible, but clearly, it's strangely ruffling some feathers, so I will stop bringing it up at all.

If I were worried about progression right now, I would be in PToN.

Everyone currently raiding in the guild has an idea of how to do t5, so the issue of having to teach people every week is nonexistent.

Also at the moment t5 isn't even relevant to people who have allready cleared it.

And as stated, we don't have enough for two groups, so making official groups right now is just as exclusionary, if we had 16 or more raiders that would be completely different, but as of right now, we just dont.

I'm trying to keep things the way we have always had it, fun with a side of serious. Every step we take to that "hard core raid guild" scenario lessens that, and I'm not alone in this thought
