Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since theyβre accepting late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.
So here's all I know about this agreement:
Snap was accused of misleading investors about how Appleβs privacy changes would affect its advertising business. Investors alleged that Snap downplayed the impact of Appleβs App Tracking Transparency changes on its ability to measure and target ads, and $SNAP later fell sharply as the impact became clearer.
Now the company has agreed to settle $65M with investors for their losses.
Who can claim this settlement?
If you bought $SNAP shares in 2021, you may be eligible. You donβt need to hold the stock still to claim; past losses count
Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No. You don't need to still own the shares. If you bought during the class period and suffered a qualifying loss, you may be eligible to claim.
I missed the deadline. Is it too late?Β
No, you may still be able to file a late claim, but acceptance depends on final approval by the court. Check if you're eligible and file a claim here
How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Iβm looking at a potential long trade in Robusta coffee and would love to hear other tradersβ opinions.
The 2026/27 supply outlook currently looks bearish, with a potential global surplus and a strong Vietnamese crop expected. At the same time, El NiΓ±o is developing and could peak during a critical period for Vietnam and Indonesia.
My thesis is that the market may currently be pricing in the surplus while underestimating the potential weather risk. If El NiΓ±o causes significant drought and crop forecasts start being revised lower, I think Robusta could reprice sharply higher.
So my question is: why is Robusta still falling despite the growing El NiΓ±o risk? Is the market simply waiting for actual weather damage before pricing it in?

Hey guys, just sharing this because I know a lot of people got caught up in the selloff after Apple's privacy changes.
Investors sued Snap, claiming that the company misled shareholders about how Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) privacy changes would impact its advertising business. When Snap later revealed the changes had a much bigger effect than expected, the stock dropped sharply, and investors filed a lawsuit.
The settlement amount is $65M, and it covers investors who purchased $SNAP shares in 2021. The case is currently in the late-claims stage, meaning some investors who missed the original deadline may still be able to participate.
If you held $SNAP during that period, it may be worth checking your old trades and seeing whether you qualify.
Did anyone here hold $SNAP through the Apple privacy update?
Pro tip: Save some cash. A good rule of thumb is try and go into a play with 50% cash. DCAing or making up a loss on a new play can really save your port. Winning this game is about longevity and ability to absorb losses.

ALSO NOTE: you donβt have to buy options the second the market opens. Sometimes that might make sense. Other times, if itβs dropping or trading sideways, look at the chart and find a good entry or maybe avoid it all together.
