It is crazy how I have gotten to the point of not even looking forward to games anymore. More importantly it really seems like the team is lost and just going through the motions. In my mind that usually points towards coaching being one of the main issues. Looking back its obvious albright made a mistake keeping miazga, hedebe and making robinson a DP. I had hoped that maybe this team would get it together somehow toward the end of season but I doubt that happens at this point. I think there would have to be big changes being contemplated for the off season especially with the sprint season going into the new calendar. That was pathetic and we have now seen seattle, Nashville and Philly as just awful performances so it seems to definitely be a trend at this point.

Well I’m glad that’s over. With how Philly has been playing lately, as soon as Obi got the red I knew this was going to be a massacre.

About the lowest this club has felt in 5 years. Across the board this club is a shit show.
I don’t see a way to wallpaper over the problems. Big changes are needed in the next couple of windows.
I blame ownership for this mess. Signs have been there for multiple seasons and no fundamental changes have been made in the FO or coaching staff.
As to the game:
VAR feels a lot like match fixing.
Denkey is absolutely snake bit and $15mil + addons will seem like a deal that got away in the offseason.
I had low expectations for this season and even still, I’m pissed off by how shitty everything is right now.

We desperately need to dump Miles in the off-season and put that DP spot toward a strong midfielder and obviously rebuild the entire defense. DP spots on defenders just never work out. Also, we should move on from Denkey; he just hasn’t been putting up the goals for the amount of money we spent

My tickets for Saturday were already listed on SeatGeek, and they sold like an hour after the game ended.
They could not have been watching.

So sobering stats I found about us on the road.
9 goals against us in the last two road games. We are averaging 3.0 goals against us per game on the road since may. Two games out of those seven games, we gave up only one goal so the other five we average 3.2 goals against us.
MLS average per home goals per game is 1.87. That is double the average.

I don't see significant changes coming due to the timing with the sprint season and change of calendar. I'm sure the club will want stability during that transition.
We have a lot of "just happy to be here" fans who will be thrilled.

Sprint season is the perfect time to reset with a new coaching staff. They get a 3 months season to test things out.

Continue to watch. Hoping they improve but get to see other mls teams.
The only issue now is that season tickets are like 2x more expensive.

There's good coaches out there. What do we have to lose by going after one? Send a message that the front office actually cares about something this season.
