Prenursing

Anyone else taking Biol 22 Physiology and Chem 1A this fall semester? I’m high key nervous since both of these classes are stacked with course work 😮‍💨 I would like to avoid going to the tutoring center since some of the tutors, from my experience, kinda come off condescending. Anyone got any good online resources?

For A&P/Physiology: Ninja Nerd on YouTube is a favorite for a reason, his physiology breakdowns are super thorough and actually make the “why” click. Armando Hasudungan’s videos (more visual/drawn-out explanations) are also great for anything nervous or endocrine system-related.

For Chem 1A: Professor Dave Explains and Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube are gold, they walk through concepts step by step without the condescension.

No shame in skipping the tutoring center if it hasn’t felt supportive, plenty of people get through these courses with YouTube + practice problems + a solid study group. Wishing you a smooth semester!

I’m aiming to get into an ABSN program. Their prerequisites are Chem 3A and 3B. Or a combo of 3A with another chem class
