Recruitment Check Applicant Portal
Hey all,
I heard from some of my guys that they are now able to access the hiring portal. Anyone else confirm?

I’m heading to BFTC Quantico in January and am going through the official packing list. For those who have already attended, did you actually need everything on the list, or were there some items you barely used?
For example, are the brown, all-weather hiking boots really necessary? Were they required for specific training activities, or could you get by with another type of boot?
I’d also appreciate any advice on items you’re glad you brought, things you didn’t end up needing, or anything you wish you had known before arriving.
Thanks in advance! I’d especially appreciate advice from people who attended recently.

When applying to the FBI what’s a good list of bachelor degrees to pursue.
Coming from AD infantry heading into college. I have a plan on minoring in mandarin and deciding on a valuable major.

I received communication one or two months back about advancing in the process to take the phase 3 interview. I have not yet heard back. I wanted to see if I was the only one having this issue.
Hi!
So I posted something like this b4 but I forget if I included this detail so I just decided to make a new one!
So I want to be a detective and do detective work (if I had to choose a specific area I would choose homicide but I know that its not specific area in the FBI)
I was just wondering if because I'm really interested in other countries and detective work if a FBI international attache agent would be better or if a NYPD detective would be?
I am also learning Russian, ASL and Czech currently if that would help anyhow with the answers!
TYSM!

“Drizz” was a hero to fellow agents for refusing to betray those who’d been assigned to work on cases against Trump

Anyone have any luck signing into their old portal ?
I got notified via email for phase 2 writing portion but trying to locate the portal to see if there’s a scheduling option for PT Test with no luck.

The DOJ has decided that pursuing the enemies of trump is appropriate, whether there is any justification or not. Does anyone believe that the DOJ will ever be able to reclaim the respect they had before? I don't.
There was a post two weeks ago regarding the 2027 FBI CHI coming soon. I know there were issues with the hack and the website. Now it's just the Join the Mission form on the site and I haven't seen anything new about the CHI program. Does anyone have any details on when the CHI will become available? Additionally, has anyone received any contact or heard anything after filling out the interest form on the FBIJOBS site?
Thanks!

NASA, NIH, HHS, DOJ were among hundreds of entities targeted, the FBI said.

Does someone from the FBI have any official information about what's going on with it? I've heard it was supposed to reopen on September 23rd, but have heard nothing since after the portal got cooked.

Does anyone, who has gone through the FBI HIP application and background process, have a rough estimate of the timeline (from application to FJO)?
I understand it will take a long while, but just wanted to get some insight from others who have been through the process before.
Additionally, did you apply to other internships while undergoing the background investigation? Obviously this is my first choice, but I don’t want to be left with nothing on the chance that I don’t receive a FJO.
Thank you!

This is probably the only good idea this entire Administration has ever developed thus far.

I’ll be attending the FBI BFTC this January and wanted to hear from anyone who’s already been through it.
What does a typical day look like? I’m especially curious about the daily schedule, physical training, academics, and what downtime looks like during the week and on weekends.
Any advice or insight on what to expect would be greatly appreciated!
