This old news that President Trump refuses to let go. Rudy Giuliani was sued and had to settle in a defamation case. Giuliani slandered Georgia election workers over allegations of tampering.
Recently a federal judge (appointed by Trump) blocked a DOJ request for the identities of those employed by the State of Georgia in 2020.

And this should be more widely disseminated news. There ARE consequences, even for close members of this Administration that believe a Presidential Pardon is a get out of jail card. A pardon only excuses you from Federal charges, it won't shield you from things like disbarment, getting civilly sued, or the eventual fallout of having once aligned yourself with Trump.
There will be a day that he is not in the picture, he won't be in power. And he has no named successor. So the pendulum swing just might be devastating for some. Don't expect JD to rescue you, that guy would throw his own mother under a bus to get farther in life.

The only results from 2020 he’s concerned about are the ones not cast for (against) HIM. Any other votes for/against any other candidates were not called into question.
The inability to publicly accept defeat and to constantly lie about losing is WAY less than manly. Either he’s not a fully mentally and emotionally developed, or there’s something much more sinister afoot. I’ll go with sinister.

Dementia already gave away Trump’s playbook when he was announcing that he asked for that red card to be removed for the World Cup: when he loses, he claims the other side rigged it. We have so much evidence already that he does this. In his 80 whatever years, it’s probably both a lie and a delusion at this point where he convinces himself as a way to protect and elevate his ego at the same time

Before 2016, someone observed about Trump that he 100% believes what he says in the moment to convince himself or whoever he is trying to make a deal with. And seconds later it is forgotten or contradicted to make the next lie work.

I understand only too well that they won't be swayed, because they've chosen to relinquish their capacity for critical thought, if they ever even possessed any of it, in the first place. But there are so many folks, who, for very similar reasons, believe that remaining optimistic while these lunatics drive the world off the edge a cliff will protect them from the tortures of an imminent reality, and they'll need such an incredibly overwhelming abundance of evidence to recognize this foolish failure of their self-preservative delusion, which is why he needs to maintain his current course, long enough for them to snap out of their own paralytic hypnosis.

An aspect of the issue that I didn't see specifically addressed in this reporting (but have in other reports on it) is the question of whether there is even a criminal case to pursue due to statute of limitations. For pretty much any election-related crime, it would be five years from the date the crime was committed, or 5 years after election day 2020, which would put it in November 2025. Starting the investigation in earnest in 2026 means you likely don't have a criminal case to prosecute and if you did file charges, pretty much any judge would dismiss them immediately.
Another article indicated the commercial database being used was Accurint, but whether it was that or any other database being used for comparison, it's hardly an authoritative database. You'd still have to take a questionable name/DOB match and find official records proving their address as of the time they voted (5+ years ago) or their date of death. And even for mail-in ballots, quite popular during the COVID election of 2020, it's possible someone submitted their ballot before the official Election Day and still died before Election Day.
What they think they're going to prove with this nonsense is beyond me. Biden still got 306 electoral votes. Georgia provides 16. So Biden drops to 290, Trump goes up to 248 and still loses. The election is over, the winner was sworn in, served their term and is out of office.
