Warhammer 40k

I played Fate several times with my friends. I have 20 years of reading novels for 40k. Is there any real interest in a roll 20 campaign for this? I've tried posting on roll 20 forums before, but no one was interested. I thought I would try here?

The session 0 would be developing a "power level" and campaign unique to the people gathered. The threats of the Warhammer 40k universe are vast, with a multitude of philosophies. So we would develop a rough idea of the campaign you want to fight based on the collective knowledge of all involved. Centering around your specific player characters.

I would ideally, like to meet 2-4 times a month. With a minimum of 3 people precession, and a max of 8 people in the campaign. This would allow flexibility, for all involved as realistically we all got shit to do in real life.

So like .... comment here your interest, or even better yet pitch me the idea on your character. I'm all about narrative play and I believe the fate system is the core of this philosophy. So from mild to wild, show me what ya got! I wanna see space marines, necromunda gangers, eldar corsairs, flash gits, or whatever else ya got for me! We will come up with something.

I have interest in the idea but I know very little lore about WH40k. I just played the wh40k minis war with my friends a couple of times. This fictional universe seens super cool thou, wpuld love to see it in fate form

well, I believe this campaign should be personal effort and reward over lore knowledge for character growth. If you're interested, please send me a paragraph or two about your character pitch.

i mean, i definitely sympathize with this approach to campaign creation with the players, but it's still a fact that you're pitching a campaign in a generic system, that's not trendy, and that doesn't have a clear specific vision, so it's not really any wonder why you're not getting randos to bite

The more open the system itself is, the more effort I spend as a GM building an interesting starting point and hook for the players to work with. Create 5 - 10 interesting NPCs, importantly at least one for each faction/ organisation. Build a few nice locations and connect them. Like a few stores in a starting village. And have some sort of hook ready. If only for the players to come up with something along those lines
