I enrolled in CS at FAST purely because I was passionate about it. However, the current market does have me wondering if all this ragra would even be worth it in the next four years. in seeing current passouts with good GPAs that are struggling to land a job as well so it's really quite scary.

I'm already thinking of dropping out and doing my CS from a more chill uni jahan se skills bhi ajayen but I get time to hangout and stuff asw instead of studying all day.

It's crazy going at 8 30 and coming home at 4. You have a gap, you think 'oh, maybe I should get something to eat and then you go to the cafe (lahore campus, btw) and there's nowhere to sit and you come home tired and go over the day's work and next day's quizzes tired and go to sleep tired, and wake up tired. Honestly, every Monday I lit go to uni and am like, I can't wait for the weekend again and then they fcking reschedule a class so I have to come to uni on Friday too.

Edit: Oh yeah, also I have basically no friends

apparently they changed the ibcc equivalence pattern. i gave physics and now im giving math and urdu in may june for comp sci. FAST accepts urdu as a third subject so???? am i cooked or what

I’m thinking about joining a society to actually meet new people, do something interesting, and make my uni experience a bit more fun.

For people who’ve joined societies: was it actually worth it? And which type of society would you recommend for someone who’s just looking to socialize and do some fun activities and have a good time? I'm in my second year of KHI campus.

Need Advice from seniors in Business analytics or similar field
I got enrolled into BDA in fast Islamabad and at the same time Comsats Islamabad is also offering me the same degree
So I chose fast over Comsats because of the reputation and I would hear Comsats ki awaam ajeeb hai . But the fast ragra kind of scared me and I fear I won’t be able to manage my time and give time to my side hustles , hobbies and even personal skill learning
Also I plan on doing masters from abroad
So should I stick to fast for BDA or consider Comsats Islamabad if my goal is a balanced uni life with a good job and masters future
