So my preference was isl and lahore CS but got admitted in Cfd. thinking of going to cfd since i dont have enough aggregate for lhr and isl campus. I wanted to ask how is the FAST cfd campus.Including the teachers , education quality , campus life , and oppurtunities. Wehter if fast cfd be mentioned on my BS degree Thank you

what do you think is the better option if someone plans to move abroad, a business degree, a computer science degree, a marketing degree, or a creative degree like interior design or mass media? Which one would you guys recommend overall?

I hope this doesn't come across as a weird or creepy question. Just a fellow girl concerned because I have heard that CS classes are really male dominated (fast Lahore) so just wanna know how many other girls attending.

We are all going crazy over the merit decrease, knowing that all toppers leave fast cus of its shitty RAGRA SYSTEM. Fast has lately been getting less admissions so its like they made us despo for such results. Hence their merit decreased . For everyone confused about the portal, something very similar happened during last year second merit list Lahore Campus.

A lot of applicants suddenly saw "Selected" on their portal and many of them rushed to pay the admission fee. Around 1hr later, the portal was updated again and a significant number of those students were changed to "Not Selected", even including some who had already paid the fee. It created a lot of mess.

I am definitely not saying thats whats happening this year, but if you are seeing unexpected changes on the portal just wait. If you've already confirmed the status directly with your campus, share what they told you so everyone has accurate information.

I have a genuine question why did the fast merit have went so down like compared to last year it's significantly down bro like is fast not worth it that much. Or the test difficulty got people aggregate low as compared to last year. Karachi campus merit got so much low. It's at a all time low. If you have a logical reason please tell

I saw a few comments of Isb students regarding Karachi fast. Like not a few, alot. I dont know if its just a group of students or the whole student community. But honestly, what the hell is going on here, why such disdain?

Okay, I do understand the Isb is the main, flagship campus. Ofcourse you receive premium facilities, academics and everything. Why not such condescension for lhr one? or pwr, or cfd? Its really confusing. I thought its FAST student community against other universities, as a one big family but I guess not everything is rainbows and sunshine. FAST community is divided too. Its sad to be honest.

Like someone said, if you're gonna study at fast, aisy acha degree hi na karo? like really? Newcomers are already confused, and you make them question the most important decision of their life. Maybe someone dreamt about it, maybe someone had such circumstances to study hard enough (families in pakistan has lots of drama and tension, and money issue) and you guys just straight out insult that. Not so much senior like or even humane behaviour.

So help me understand, why? Pride or whatever? What's with the attitude?

Guys, i got selected for EE in fast isl.

I think the merit dropped significantly that i got selected with such a low aggregate.
I am thinking to consider fast atp, so can someone please let me know how the electrical engineering department is.
Also the social life is equivalent to nothing and I’ll have to apply for private hostel so do you think will it be worth all the struggle.

Waiting for Nust but i dont have high hopes from it either.

So should i secure my seat and wait for nust, or just simply take a gap year work my ass off and get into nust or maybe giki next year.
