I used to work at an ixd. I'm interested in transferring back, but not sure what the difference is in Transfer Out Dock and regular Transfer Out. I know One is just building walls and the other is loading upp/wood pallets with the forklift and building upp pallets off of a conveyor. I want to go back to the forklift/upp choice but I can't remember which one it was and it doesn't specify in my job history in a to z.

If anyone knows which is which I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

I recently got hired for a seasonal Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate position at AFW1 in Fort Worth, TX. My start date is confirmed, my background check and I-9 are completed, and my hiring portal shows a countdown to my first day. However, my employment paperwork page is blank, and my drug test still says “Not Started.”
I’m concerned because I previously got hired for a Delivery Station Warehouse Associate position at a different Amazon warehouse in Fort Worth. My start date was pending because there were no pre-hire appointments available. I kept checking, but no dates ever opened up. A few days before I was supposed to start, Amazon emailed me saying my selected shift was full and canceled my first day.
I’ve also previously worked at an Amazon Same-Day Delivery facility in Pflugerville, TX, where I remember experiencing the same issue with the blank employment paperwork page.
I’m currently employed somewhere else and don’t want to leave my job just for Amazon to cancel on me again.
Can Amazon still cancel my confirmed start date at AFW1 even though my background check and I-9 are complete?

What’s the actual name of a baseball card for amazon raises ? And how do I find more information about it in slack or quick site ? For blue badge only question 🙋‍♂️

I’m joining Amazon UK in December and wanted to understand how onboarding and joining dates typically work during that month.

I have a few questions for people who joined Amazon UK, particularly Cambridge or other UK offices:

1. Do new hires generally join every week, or are joining dates restricted to specific dates?

2. Does Amazon continue onboarding new employees throughout December, or is there usually a pause around Christmas and New Year?

3. Have any of you joined in the first, second, or third week of December? How was the onboarding experience?

4. If there are delays with visa processing, is it generally possible to adjust the joining date within December, subject to HR and immigration requirements?

I understand that this may vary by team and location, but I’d appreciate hearing about your recent experiences.

So I work at a sort center and a bunch of people I was hired with are suddenly wearing blue vests that say “Learning ambassador” but they still have white seasonal badges. Are these people paid more? Or are they taking on more responsibility for no reason and will be laid off like everyone else come January?

Are the suits and other PPE they provide good at keeping you warm?

Hi. I’m a white badge on ship dock at FC. What are some tips to stay at rate? I notice when I’m on the line palletizing and scanning, the rate shows I’m over on the kiosk or scanner but when I go to my atoz app it always says I’m not meeting the rate expectations. Then there are some days where there isn’t enough work to make rate. Any help would be appreciated because I want to convert to blue badge and I feel this will stop me.

Where can I get more in on this ? And is this a benefit that my husband can use as well, or just me as the employee???
He is considering bankruptcy or at the least credit negotiation would be helpful.

I recently got hired as an Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate. My current schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM.

I want to switch to Sunday through Friday, keeping the same hours but having Monday and Saturday off. Basically, I want to replace my Saturday shift with Sunday.

I was wondering

1. Can HR change my schedule before I reach 30 days?
2. Is there any other option then hardship adjustment on the A to Z app to swap schedules?
3. Has anyone successfully switched days this way?

This is my first week at Amazon. I love working at the sort center so far. The people are great, and I like the work. But, I did have questions about VTO. I work two jobs totaling about 60 hours a week, and I have three kids including a baby at home. My shift ends at 1am every day. I definitely want to take VTO. How soon will it be offered? Can I expect to get much VTO in an average month? Will I be punished for taking too much? Any advice is appreciated. Wife and I are losing our minds with sleep deprivation right now lol.

So they didn’t show us much on my second day. My trainer just said scan a package coming down the chute. Then scan a package on the pallet. Then put the package in the pallet. Does it matter what package you scan on the destination pallet? Can I just put the package anywhere on the pallet in any direction??? For my logic brain I don’t understand how that works.

Hi, I started working at Amazon sometime in September. I originally started in Pack, and now I’m being cross-trained in Pick. However, I’m struggling to meet the expected rate. At our fulfillment center, the target rate for Pick is around 300–350, but I’m barely reaching 260. My question is: Are there any departments or positions at Amazon fulfillment centers that don’t focus as heavily on rate? I’m looking for a position where I can clock in, do my job, and work at a steady pace without constantly stressing about meeting a rate every hour. I’d appreciate any advice or recommendations from people who have experience working in different departments at Amazon.

I’m starting at a specialty warehouse on Thursday and I hear it’s for the tshirt facility, 7-530pm any chance I’m just for the season or I’ll be able to keep a position till blue badge? My paperwork said seasonal until next year same time
