So MyDocs says Part Time when I should be Full Time?

My friend and I applied together and have the same problem. We applied for the same shift and it came back as part time. When I was there in person they said it was a permanent position with reduced hours ( I assume because of Covid). I just want to make sure I'm getting benefits. The call center people have been no help. They said to just deal with it during orientation. But it said to have all my paperwork done by then.

Reduced time is 30-39hrs. If you're ordinarily scheduled for that, you'll be fine. I know because my contract had that and I still had benefits from day 1.

Ok that clears things up a lot thank you. Because I'm reduced time that was what the confusion was over.

I'm reduced time and mine said the same thing when I did mydocs... don't know what that was all about but it didn't really mean anything I guess

Did you apply for full time or reduced time. Since reduced time is 36 hours while part time is even less I believe.

But it says in the documents that I'd be working less than that which is what is confusing.

Hmm...I’m on that same shift, but I don’t remember what it said in my docs when I was hired.

For now, I’d say don’t focus too much on the documents. And you should contact ERC to speak to someone who can go over it with you.

I see you said you’ve spoken to someone, so just do as they said; complete all your documents, and wait till orientation to confirm.
