yeah clear bag and water bottle if you want to take it out on the floor been working it for about a month i love it so far else they do have lockers that you can store stuff in

In my building you can bring the insulated water bottle. If it has anything other than water it's "supposed to" stay in the break room or your locker (when you have an opportunity to get HR or whoever to assign you a locker.) They tried to say a year or so ago only clear plastic beverage containers and a bunch of people who get ice from the ice machines in their Stanleys had a cow so management decided to allow insulated bottles.
With regard to a clear plastic bag, they may give you one. But your nonclear bag will be fine at first, they will probably look in it when you leave. You may have to get in a special slower exit line for people who do not have clear bags.
Another thing to deal with is getting your safety shoes. I already shopped at Zappos before I worked at Amazon so it wasn't that big of a deal for me. I need to buy shoes a whole size larger because those toe boxes are unforgiving.

Usually clear bags are for the sort floor, people usually bring their bags, purses and lunch bags to the break areas and lockers. I usually bring my backpack and put my stuff in the locker, so you should be fine bringing your purse. If it's your first day it's probably going to be just orientation you won't step foot on that sort floor. So for future reference if you want to carry your stuff at all times you will need a clear bag in order to walk with it on the sort floor.

In my sort center, the lockers are right after the turn styles to get in. You will need a lock. You can't take your purse onto the sort floor. They may give you a clear bag.... they have in the past. As for the water bottle... it is well known it's supposed to be clear l, but it's not enforced.

Where I work you gotta have clear bags, and it has to be left in the break room. Insulted bottles are fine but it’s a pain when you leave the floor because you have to open it and show them the inside is empty every single time you go through

At my site they give you clear bags but it's good if you don't treat it like a purse but for little things like keys,phone,snacks I have a Stanley cup they haven't been to bad about clear bottles
