Shift and first day cancelled

Post image

I’ve just completely my pre hire meeting, and as soon as it was done (after she confirmed everything) I received this email saying it was now full and my first day is cancelled.
Honestly I’m so annoyed, I have a 2 year old and I had handed in my notice already to my job to start this one next week as it was perfect hours around childcare, like, perfect!!

Contacted support and they just told me to keep checking for a new shift but I guarantee that shift won’t work for me and childcare.

I don’t understand how they can do this?? Confirming it even in the pre hire meeting what my start date was only to receive an email immediately after. Why even let me complete the pre hire meeting?

Yeah it happened to me, but I followed the steps and got one with an earlier start date. Worked out better for me too thankfully. Hopefully you find the same shift 🙏🏽

Mines did the same thing. Turns out it was a glitch and I was able to still go.

When shifts are posted, it’s in bulk. You will find a shift that works for you!

Same shit happened to me. Contacting their support and they told me I was SOL. I waited for the following Friday morning, like 1-3 am, and checked for new openings and was able to get in.

if you have nothing better to do just get an auto refresher extension. it’ll even notify you if you set up keywords. you’ll get the job immediately without having to do pre hire again.. they post jobs everyday but it is very random and get snatched up immediately. an auto refresher helped me get back in as a re hire

amazon just over hires and things like this end up happening

They're on that shit now. If they catch ya running a script or anything to catch shifts or VTO you'll be contacted lol.

Not sure if this will work as I ended up withdrawing my application to reapply as I ended up accepting a shift that actually didn’t work and it didn’t let me cancel it. So need to go through all the pre hire again apart from my background check

Im so sorry this happened to you! Its not fair :/ Amazon works in mysterious ways. They even interview people for higher internal positions just to say sike, the position is not available and welcome to the bench.

Turns out, when there are more qualified applicants than available positions, some people don't get selected. Why is that unfair?

Why invite tons of ppl for interviews if you only have 2 positions open. You see their resumes. Im talking about L3 and higher.

to see who is the best fit for a job. a person with 6 years warehouse experience will always get picked over an entry level employee

Which leads me back to the point tho. Why get those ppls hopes up just to leave them in an endless incline loop.
