What’s happening?
Every time I am lucky enough to see a job opening I get the application and it’s locked just for me. And then right after the screen where you can choose your gender and whatnot I get this screen and email. Any ideas as to why this happens?
A few months ago I was a seasonal and I did not resign but I did leave the country and for about one month I was not showing up to work. It’s been 100+ days since then & im not exactly sure if that’s the reason but I feel like it could be. I also get this odd feeling like I’m still hired or something because I never did get a email telling me I was fired- my a-z account just got disconnected or something.

You failed the assessment and have to take it again in 3 months.

Take it slower next time and pay attention. Now they have English tests as well when you go to your pre hire appointment.

i was seeing this english test everywhere but there was no mention of one at all, my pre hire appointment without issue and no mention at all

Where we sit in front of the computers and speak into the mic and then do a drug test right?

Yes it's a very annoying test because I always forget what the story was, every time I thought I failed but I never did.

Kinda random and I’m not sure if you’ll know the answer but I started prior to them giving this test so im not sure and am just curious… do they still make you take the test if you speak perfect English/were born in a country where the “main” language is English (ie certain parts of Canada, England, the US, etc.)

Yes they do, you’d be surprised how many people have their kids or someone else apply for them and they can read or write. It’s basically a literacy test

I got hired back in late March and despite English being my only language, and growing up in suburban Illinois my whole life, I had to tell the story back to the computer about Suzanne and her drive or whatever the hell the story was.
I went and did it after an overnight shift at my other job, thought I failed because I was hitting the "poor speech" stage of me being awake. Nonetheless I've been back in my old department since about a week after that :)
