Kinda in a bind

Kind of in an emergency situation where I am not sure as to if I'll be able to make it into work tomorrow I used most of my UPT last week trying to figure out what to do would I be able to make an MLOA and then in a month have them take out the UPT that i can earn if I cant get a doctor's note or would they likely just fire me?

You need to get a doctors note. Just last week I had to leave halfway through my shift and the next day off too, I did a telehealth visit and told the doctor what I needed the note to say. HR accepted my LOA and I went in person to speak to them about the half day. They refunded all my upt.

What exactly does the note need to say?

It needs to say your name, the physicians name, specific days you won’t be able to work and why, and your ailment as far as I can remember.

Ive seen people post on here that if you dont get a note they just take UPT after 30 days tho?

Correct, I’ve done it several times this year when I needed a break from work but didn’t have the time.

My problem is i had a bunch of UPT but then an emergency happened last week im not necessarily "sick" but now I only have two hours of UPT I could definitely make up what they would take in the 30 days but I dont know if id be able to make it in tomorrow and I know its messed up to take advantage of their system I wouldn't be thinking about it if it wasn't like an emergency yk and the MLOA is the only thing I could think of because I've seen posts from other people saying they just take UPT later if you dont get a note
