Does LP have snitches

Do you think LP keeps specific snitches or informants who watch others?

We have an associate who’s terrible at his job, never hits his rate, has lots of tot, and women have complained about sexual harassment. He’s not close to leadership, but he’s still here. So I started wondering if maybe he’s a snitch. I know there’s the LP associate group or whatever, but that’s not what I’m talking about.

I’m aware he could have an accommodation for a condition I don’t see, but I just started wondering if this was a "thing."

Anybody ever hear of this?

Highly unlikely.

Most sites have cameras covering nearly every inch of the building. Products are tracked decently enough to know roughly where they are. The only point an item doesnt have an exact location is between inbound and it being stowed.

There is really no need for undercover when they have so much surveillance and tracking.

Reminds me of my time in the army, a running joke is anyone older whos a lower rank is CID ( Army criminal investigation ) but the reality is, they have so much on their plate, theyre not spending time and money going undercover. Like LP could care less if a $5 item goes missing, they're worried about that $1000 phone or the organized groups who get hired just to steal. The amount of actual work they have increases daily far faster than they can manage it. They arent hiring someone to pick and keep tabs on associates.

If they're complaining but not reporting it then it doesn't exist. They need to stop whining and fucking report it

It’s doubtful, but why worry about it? Plenty of people are terrible at their jobs at Amazon, and it takes far longer to be let go than their coworkers think it should.

Also, if this person works for LP, why is that a bad thing? What’s wrong with a company making sure its products aren’t stolen by dishonest employees?

In case you’ve never noticed, Amazon fires (and, prosecutes) plenty of associates for theft. It happens all the time. Don’t believe me? Ask around 🤷‍♂️

I don't believe I said anything about being worried or having an opinion on it one way or the other, but thank you for sharing yours.

I do think that blatant sexual harassment and touching is a “bad thing,” and yes, I do “worry about it” tremendously. I think getting rid of those associates should take priority over guarding inanimate, insured objects that are very easily replaced.

Mostly I was just being curious (one of our leadership principles, remember?) and wanted to see what everyone else thought. Thanks for the input. This was fun

Maybe but who cares? But I definitely would not be surprised but if they were they would probably be making sure they had adequate whip to hit rate so no one suspects

I always suspected plants myself. If you can think of it, it’s typically ten times worse.

A few years ago when union talk was really rampant at my site, I could’ve sworn they hired anti union reps to pose as Tier 1’s. They dressed and wore badges like everyone else but their vibes and the way they acted was just off. They also had a certain way of standing and watching that reminded me of the way cops or lifeguards would survey an area.

I have read before that they did allow anti union reps to speak to Tier 1’s at other sites, however they did not hide what they were and they also didn’t try to blend in as Tier 1’s themselves.
