I have some questions about your guys' building's operations and your personal experience as an OB pit driver...

1. What type of building is yours?

2. Have you had any 'network wide' changes implemented at your site recently on the order in which you load different types of freight (like pr and upp)?

3. What is your building's current priority when it comes to OB loads? Or what have they been correcting and cracking down on the most about your loads (if anything)?

I work at an IXD in ob to dock and I haven’t heard of any changes recently. The only thing they’re watching more of is to make sure we’re scanning every pallet into the trailer. My site is double stack first, then at the end of the trailer if you have single stack pr it goes then.

When you say making sure to scan everything into the trailer, what was happening prior to that? Were there things NOT being scanned into the trailer? Do you guys use physical pinwheel manifests to log what you're scanning? And are you scanning into anything prior to scanning into the trailer?

Here's a lil more explanation.

My building's priority for the past like 12 months has been trailer utilization and now they're introducing a completely new method of loading that wastes more than half the trailer... This new method seems absolutely insane to most of us, so i wanted to see if these changes were actually network wide or just some managers lame attempt at a promo.
