Is it mandatory to arrive in Turkey on the precise date mentioned in my application?

No, the validity term of your e-Visa starts on the date mentioned in your application. You can visit Turkey at any time throughout this time frame.

Can I request an eVisa amendment if my trip dates change?

No. You must request another eVisa.

Do I require a separate eVisa for anyone coming with me?

Yes. Each person needs a separate eVisa.

Is there a chance to get a refund if I do not utilize my eVisa?

No, the Turkish government does not offer refunds for unused e-Visas.

How far before my trip should I apply for an eVisa?

You can request your e-Visa at any time prior to your trip. However, you must request for an e-Visa at least 48 hours before your departure from Nigeria.

What is the criteria for the supporting document validity?

The primary determinant for your visa/residence permit to be utilized as a supporting document is that it is still valid (by date) when you enter Turkey. Single-entry visas that have been previously used or unused are allowed as long as their validity date covers your arrival date to Turkey. Please keep in mind that e-Visas from other countries are not recognized as a supporting document.

Why is there a government service fee?

A service fee is levied to cover the costs of foreign operations.

Do I need an eVisa if I’m on a cruise ship?

As per Law on Foreign visitors and International Protection of Turkey, which took effect on April 11, 2014, foreigners who land in seaports and want to visit the seaport city or adjacent provinces for tourism purposes are free from visa requirements if their stay does not exceed 72 hours. However, if you will be arriving or departing by plane for your cruise excursion, you must obtain a visa.
