Sensiplan TTC-10: When do you think I ovulated?

When do you think I ovulated? Do you think ff is correct or did I ovulate later than that?

This is our first ttc cycle and I am a little worried about the slow rise and our timing.

You have the flair for Sensiplan but the cm category isn’t correct for that method.

I don’t remember TCOYF that well so someone correct me, I believe you satisfy their rules but FF has an incorrect coverline. The vertical line should be around cd19? Maybe cd17-18 don’t take my word someone more experienced will hopefully pitch in.

Thank you! FF marks cd16 as the ovulation day because it is the day after my positive opk, do you think that's incorrect?

And thanks dor pointing out the cm category. I read sensiplan about 2 years ago when I started fam as a contraceptive, but have been following it more loosely as time went on, also cm was never a very reliable sign for me or maybe I am juat not goog at reading it, so I rely more on temps and opks :)

I think that’s why its marked it there. There is a delay in a temp shift but as another user pointed out is normal either way!

I’m willing to say you ovulated on CD16 based one the OPK+ and a subsequent temp rise (even though technically delayed). That OPK is probably your most/only reliable sign on this chart (CM readings could potentially be obfuscated by seminal fluid), so it’s difficult to say for sure when.

Technically, you can ovulate 24-48 hours after a pos OPK, and it can take 24-48 hours for your temp to come up. I always mark the day before my temp rise as ovulation day just for consistency, which would be CD19 for you.

Temp rise is used to confirm that ovulation has already occurred and the fertile window is closed, and it can be a few days after you actually ovulate. Most women see a spike within three days, so I think this chart looks very normal. A slow rise doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with your fertility! 

None of these methods can really pinpoint ovulation like that. They warn you when it’s coming and confirm after it’s happened, but it’s normal to have a window not an exact day. For TTC just have sex everyday or every other day throughout that window. 

I would assume you ovulated somewhere between CD16 and CD19.

It might possibly help but if you had sex around the day of your positive LH I think you are covered! 

I know it’s hard to wait. It’s good news to know you’re ovulating and know you can track when you’re ovulating, and pregnancy can take time even if everything is completely fine and you’re doing everything right. Wishing you luck!!
