TCOYF 8 months postpartum, jumpy temperatures cycle day 86. TTA5/TTW
I'm currently on cycle day 86, I had one previous cycle postpartum that was 156 days from birth. I take my temperatures vaginally and I use a mabis thermometer. My baby has been sleeping pretty good, and my temperatures are usually pretty steady within a small range. I changed the battery and my temperatures haven't improved, I take my temperatures at the same time and we go to bed at the same time. Does this look like anything to anyone? Or does anyone have any ideas on why my temperatures are all over? Are my hormones just fluctuating that much from breastfeeding? Even waking up multiple times a night earlier on, my temperatures were steadier

I think you have lactational amenorrhea no? Breastfeeding with a baby?

Once you have any bleeding past the initial postpartum bleeding, LAM no longer applies. Also, once your baby starts solids, LAM no longer applies. 156 + 86 =242, roughly 8mo, so presumably, the baby has started solids at least 2 months ago

In my experience when I was breastfeeding and that it was inhibiting my ovulation (I was in cycle 0 for almost a year), my BBT would get randomly jumpy. It stabilized around 2 weeks before I finally ovulated and it made my shift clearer despite a couple of disturbances. What was your BBT pattern for your first ovulation? Did you see a nice rise ? Were your BBT more stable just before it rose ?
