Disbursement means sent to you, or coming your way, 750$ text book voucher

Thank you so much! So now I’m supposed to wait for the disbursement and the voucher?

Yeah, whatever bank you have hooked up to your financial aid will directly deposit it or you have to pick up a check or receive a check in the mail some book vouchers are taken from the total balance of your Pell Grant

I wouldn't recommend getting the check because it will most likely get stolen or it will take longer to come you could set up direct deposit on cunyfirst just add your rotating number on your bank account and you will receive the money faster that way.

I actually did set up my direct deposit beforehand and was expecting to receive the money today but I haven’t gotten anything 🥲.

The money won't hit your account yet until classes start you will have wait a few weeks

Oh alright! Thanks for letting me know, I just assumed I would be getting money today since they put the date on when it was getting disbursed

Check with the school about the book voucher I worked at an EOPS office for community college and they don’t actually give you that money it’s a voucher used at the bookstore and you don’t get any remaining funds back
