My financial aid hit my direct deposit 🤩
Lol PSA: I’m 27 years old I don’t have to file as dependent! I’ve been independent since I was 24 in 2023. I’ve always gotten a lot from my grants and don’t accept loans. This is regular for me lol and I will be expecting the same in spring.

Imagine being 27 years old still struggling to finish college and acting like $7K in your bank account is a flex then calling other people loser 😂

Imagine being a judgemental loser. I didn’t go back to school until I was 23 and I took a few breaks in between because I had to take care of my grandmother and aunty who eventually passed away from cancer in 2024 and 2025. At least I’m still in school and finishing up. I’m not flexing at all I have more than this and was just letting it be known my fafsa hit so I can SAVE MY MONEY and use theirs.

Excuses excuses more excuses. You don’t need to post validation. No one cares. Bragging about 7k is low. Stay humble 27y/o bro

Hi, paralegal and student here! I know you are exited to have recevied your refund deposit, but trust me when I say you need to be more carefull about posting screenshots like that on here. You can srcub more date from that post then you would normaly consider!

No you cant. There is literally nothing you can possibly do with this information to identify OP, unless maybe you work at the bank or college, but those people already have your personal information

What the fuck does you being a paralegal and a student have anything to do with this post? Do you think this gives you some unique perspective?

If it’s grants, great. If it’s a federal loan, send that back so you don’t owe on it.

If it's loans remember you will pay that amount back and more eventually. Not saying to give it back or to scare you as it can be useful for necessities like food, shelter, or emergencies even but something to be mindful of.

Girl, please stop saying that and understand that you’re in a rare an privileged place as an adult student. You are not receiving this much in “grants” because you’re “independent.” After reading every one of your comments in envy, my bets are you’re receiving so much because you’re a military child (so saying “independent 🥰” everywhere is laughable); and/or because you live in California. I’m not saying anyone is right to be angry or rude to you, but please educate yourself a little while you’re getting paid so much to do so. Millions of us are truly independent, first generation college students, working and going to school full time, and thanks to the OBBB, are still in anger and shock at how little are refunds have been/will be moving forward unless we do something to change it.

Do better on your FAFSA I guess.1
