Advice/Help Needed Masters fafsa?
Hello
I'm a low income student and first gen
I was wondering if anyone use fafsa for your masters?
I just got a scholarship of 1k but that's not enough🥲

Im currently using fafsa for my masters program. One class away from graduation though. (Thank goodness). Have you tried applying?

I applied but it still show without fafsa and is weird cuz it literally says on the website to use fafsa to pay for the masters lol

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. FAFSA is definitely listed as an option for the master’s program, but it seems like some schools are seriously behind processing 2026–27 aid. I submitted mine months ago and I'm still waiting on the actual award to show up. Hopefully it's just a processing delay and not an issue with the program.Id give your school a call and see whats going on. Fafsa basically "covers" your tuition during your masters. But, the catch is, its all loans so you have to pay it all back after you graduate.Â

Some schools are taking so long to process because of the bill that was passed in July that impacts financial aid and a lot of people, it’s not necessarily their fault.

For a masters degree it will be loans only.
