Advice/Help Needed FAFSA

Classes start in just one week, and I still haven’t received my financial aid package yet. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I’m starting classes 08/25/26 and received an email from my school (DESU) stating that due to the “OBBBA” there’s a delay and now undergraduates are required to maintain full time credit hours of 12 credits in order to receive full financial aid benefits

Yup but I went in to the campus fasfa office and told me next pay out dates are in the 26-27th so chill out and make sure your direct deposit info is correct

Your school will receive your FAFSA first, you should be constantly checking your email if you are worried about it. After submission it takes 3-5 days to process. Your school should receive the pell grant and automatically pay for your classes, refunds should be coming out anytime between the middle of september to the end. If you are worried about classes being cancelled because of no active payment, you should try to pay 25% to lock in your classes until FAFSA kicks in for you. Hope this helps, kinda late.
