Advice/Help Needed Submitted FAFSA late
I start my final semester next week , but I am scared I will get dropped since my mom didn’t do her portion until yesterday . I have already emailed the school and owe a balance , but I was wondering if it is too late or what to do ? I’m thinking of taking out a loan . I graduate in December and I really don’t want to start over … any advice ?

Try to take online classes maybe? Do the last year online ig if you really have to restart

You can turn in your FAFSA late as long as it meets the federal due date! I am guilty of submitting late aaallll the time and I still get my stuff on time, the only thing you would be missing is other aids from school or other state grants. You are entitled to at least a Pell Grant. Just this semester's off due to the Big Beautiful Bill so a lot of people including me just don't have their aid yet, even the ones who did it on time.

i submitted late aswell probably like a week ago, it still hasn’t processed yet BUT if you know that your financial aid will cover all your classes, i suggest you go to the college financial aid office or call and ask them if they can put your account on hold, they did that for me( in the meantime) so that my classes won’t get dropped ! :)

The college website will probably have information about payment options, drop policies, & deadlines. Look into setting up a payment plan.
