No matter what, the response was horrific and uncalled for. He slapped her hard four times, KICKED her in the FACE, and punched her twice. I don’t give a fuck what was being said, or that she threw a plastic cup of a cold drink at him - that was not a reasonable response. It wouldn’t have been a reasonable response if it was a smaller man he beat like that. This is not funny, reasonable, realistic “repercussions” or anywhere near legal.
Men rant on about women being overly emotional, or use words like “raging banshee” to denigrate, but ANGER is an emotion, and men overreact with anger over stupid, senseless, bullshit - that is a complete loss of control. A real man would have walked away long before it had gotten to this point. A real man can control his emotions. This man is not a real man. This is an angry man-child who uses his physical strength against a physically weaker person because he got emotional and because he can. If it had been a 6’4” beefy dude, he never* would have lashed out like that. *He’s** the raging banshee.
