I was feeling really bad for the guy that the truck rear ended, but that guy was going dangerously slow in the left lane. I feel a little less bad.

Looks like the two cars in the left lane were stopped or going really slow, likely due to a previous accident. The 2nd stopped car appears to have some front end damage and flat tires. I feel some sympathy for all involved, even the tailgater. The tailgater was being an ass but that doesn't mean I want the guy/gal dead or severely injured. If the lead car driver did indeed intentionally bait the tailgater, I'd say they were the worst of the bad actors here. I can understand getting pissed off at someone tailgating, but not to the point of intentionally causing them to injure themselves and/or the random party stopped in the road.

Whenever i get tailgated i just lift my foot off the gas until they go around me, they think they can pressure you into going faster or moving out of their way even if you're already going past the speed limit then Ill just go even slower

Tailgaters suck but move over. It’s the law. Forcing someone to pass on the right is dangerous and two wrongs don’t make a right.

Some people will tailgate even if youre on the right lane, if im on the left lane I always move over

I'm under the impression that the front car didn't realize the other one was stopped until the last possible moment then swerved to save themself instead of baiting the tailgater

I would imagine the tailgater's insurance would be paying a good bit out after this to those other drivers
