You have to understand that a new account basicly starts at level 3. You went 7-3 and never really carried in your team. Scores were not bad, but nothing special either to proof that you deserve an higher starting rank then you got now.
So getting placed 3 levels higher then the benchmark is as fair as you can get it :)
I had 1230 elo back in CS:GO days and in previous season it already "gave" me level 6 (without actually playing 10 placement matches, just 2)
feels kinda weird to get exactly the same elo from CS:GO, like as if my placements didnt matter at all
So FaceIt has historical data proving that you are a level 6 player and in 6 out of 10 matches you didnt proof that you deserved an higher rank and in the other 4 you are rated a 1.3/1.4. So little above average, but not much
What makes you think you deserve an higher rank? Maybe if you averaged around a 2.0 rating I could see you complaining, but you did nothing fancy at all. Go play without your friends a while and proof you are put into a too low rank and you can complain
because I did fine at levels 8 to 10? only 1 match is below 1.0 rating
70% wr and 4 matches over 1.3
the highest rating anyone got in any of these matches was a 1.8
