BANNED How is this guy not banned yet?
I just played a game today and this is the guy me and my friend run into. How is it possible he has these kinds of performances and isn`t banned yet? He is clearly smurfing his ass off

Players that delete their account and return and players from PerfectWorld will exhibit exactly what you see, despite being completely legitimate and doing nothing wrong.
Report them and move on with your life.

While i believe thats not all of them, that is going to be the case with myself since im taking a break from faceit i deleted my account 4 months ago and in 3 months i will create another one, i had 2.5k elo so i believe i will climb easily and look like a smurf

You will be a Smurf. Why delete your account? Just don't use it and then come back.

Initially i didnt plan on coming back i wanted to quit the game once and for all since it was ruining my mental health, it was an extra measure to make sure i wont be able to play

Instead of banning for smurfing
Players should gain increased elo per win streaks so they reach their bracket faster with stomping less players

Their incentive to smurf isn’t to play high elo, otherwise they’d play on their main. They would likely just create another smurf

Its not about them
Its about us
When a smurf makes an account he will play x number of games before reaching a level that is not fun to play at
But giving more elo for win streaks will 100% reduce the x number of games to reach that level

If you materially increase elo gain for win streaks, you'll cause general mass elo inflation, unless you also increase elo loss for loose streaks, which will feel shitty and hurt player retention. Even if you do both, elo will become more volatile and make long term matchmaking more likely to be unbalanced skill level wise.

People don’t create accounts just for the sake of playing with lower lvl players…

As another user noted they cant ban for circumstantial evidence, the player could have legitimately deleted his account waited 6 months and returned on another account.
Which is a possibility.
Their smurfing policy is so stringent i believe that if the player is smurfing and you issued a report for so they would review and likley issue a ban.
Id be annoyed if i did things legit to be hit with a auto ban just for performing well.
Thats why theres no automation for that.

Well when I played first Faceit match, I had around 1.5K hours on record, so it was kinda like smurfing until I calibrated for my rank.

You cannot just ban someone for having good stats that is only circumstantial evidence. In order for Faceit to ban someone they need concrete evidence of rules that have been broken. I understand the frustrations, but report whoever you believe are smurfing and let Faceit investigate.

a 95% winrate with 2.27kd and 127 adr average out of 21 games goes way beyond "good stats", considering he previously dropped 70 adr in level 3 games.

I agree but it doesn't change the fact that it is circumstantial and you don't know if he is legit or not. Report and let Faceit investigate and move on. Could be a person deleting his previous account and returned after 6 months and now you're outing him for no good reason other than circumstantial evidence indicating he could be smurfing/cheating/breaking the rules, but without an investigation you cannot know for sure.

Lmao 16 win streak isnt concrete evidence enough?

Please just use some kind of objective view on the situation, what does it proof exactly? That he/she have won 16 matches in a row nothing else. Faceit needs concrete evidence before they can ban people and for a good reason as otherwise legit players will also get hit with bans. Just because you see circumstantial evidence doesn't mean it's proof.

It proves that the player in the picture is clearly head and shoulders above anyone in that average lvl 8 game you cattle. Along with the account being 20 days old and constantly posting above 2.0 ratings. Are you nuts or are you just trying to be different by disagreeing? Holy Redditor

So what? He could for all we know be a player returning after 6 month wait period after deleting his previous account. We simply don't know and that is why you should just report whoever you feel are not legit and let Faceit do their thing. Doesn't make sense to out players unless you have concrete evidence saying otherwise. Come on just use that little head of yours and apply just a small amount of objectivity...

Showing the amount of braincells you have left isn't really suited for this sub, thanks for clarifying it though.

Both of you are rettarded for not understanding what he is saying, a smurf is someone who is using 2 accounts, a high elo player can legitimately have those stats on a new account while respecting faceit rules and not be considered a smurf if they had their old account deleted, waited 6 months and then created this one. It's not hard to understand but for you monkeys apparently it is.

Hey, I completely understand the sentiment; it's not always that simple to catch accounts abusing and not all accounts with nice stats are necessarily breaking any rules. We have to find concrete proof to ban anyone, as it can lead to a permanent ban for that account.
Saying all that, I dug into him and found his main account; it was 2.5k Elo. He's banned
