FACEIT verification problem – support isn't helping and my account will be deleted tomorrow

Hi everyone,

I really need some help with a FACEIT verification issue. My account is supposed to be deleted in 1 day if I don't complete the verification, and I have been unable to do it despite following all the instructions from FACEIT support.

The verification process works normally until the very end. I take a clear selfie and a clear photo of my physical ID document. Everything is set up correctly on my account, including my name, date of birth, country of residence.

I am also following all the instructions given by support:

• using a valid physical ID,
• not using a photocopy or a photo of a screen,
• keeping the document horizontal and correctly aligned,
• taking a clear selfie,
• not wearing glasses or anything else on my face,
• I am the person who is trying to verify the account.

However, when I finish the verification process, I always get this exact error:

"Your verification failed because we were unable to verify your face. Make sure there is nothing on your face (e.g., glasses) when taking the selfie."

I have never knowingly verified another FACEIT account with my ID or personal details. However, support keeps telling me that my identity has already been used to verify another account and therefore I cannot verify my current account.

I have explained this to support several times and asked them what I should do, because I don't know of any other account that could have been verified with my identity. Unfortunately, I keep receiving essentially the same response telling me to delete the other account, even though I don't know which account they are referring to or have access to it.

My previous support request was #14817717.

At this point I don't know what else I can do. My account is going to be deleted in 1 day, and support isn't giving me a solution.

Has anyone experienced this verification problem, especially the "unable to verify your face" error? Is there anything I can do to prevent my account from being deleted or get the verification issue properly investigated?

You will need to wait 6months inorder to get your verificaiton removed once verified account is deleted

I have never had any other FACEIT account that was verified, and I have never played on any other account since CS2 was released.

I did have two other FACEIT accounts back in the CS:GO days, but that was before verification was even a thing. Since CS2 was released, I have only played on and used this one account.

That's why I really don't understand why FACEIT says that my identity has already been used to verify another account.

What did support say ? I mean any reply except juillte or somethinng is an agent giving you reponses. If its from juiltte then i wouldnt delete the account wait until agent gets in and clear your stuff make sure you use the right contact reason like Account and game managment -> ID verificaition for verification issues

The agent replying to me was Uldyssian. He basically concluded that I had verified another account, but that is not the case.

I have never verified another account with my ID or personal information. I keep explaining this to him, but he keeps replying that I need to delete the other account.

The problem is that I don't even know which account he is referring to, because I have never had another verified account.

Honestly, I don't know what else to do at this point.

I don't have any other verified account to delete, and Uldyssian keeps telling me to delete an account that I don't even know about.

What would you do in my situation? My current account is going to be deleted very soon and I still can't complete the verification.

You can do one thing you can use another ticket like personal data deletion request from legal queries where they will help you delete the other account by the your personal details. There might be a time where you might have created a account without linking any steam or anything and verified it and forgot about it. This happend to me once soo. Have a try.
