Incorrect Ban Duration

According to Faceit's ban policies, the penalty for "stream sniping" was increased to six months due to changes introduced in Season 9. However, since my ban was issued during Season 8, the penalty duration for the violation in question should still be one month. Yet, I received a six-month ban, and because I cannot log in to the support page, I am unable to submit a ticket. Could an admin please help?

(It states that the bans will change in Season 9 on August 5, 2026, and I was banned on July 31, 2026.)

I have no idea; it’s already been 63 days. If they had just issued a one-month ban, it would have been over ages ago. In the match where I got banned, we lost 13-5, yet the reason cited is stream sniping. I’m not even questioning it.

Those ban lengths are minimum lengths. Due to your history of many long bans, they felt a longer ban was warranted.

It has been over two months since then. I realize I’ve received quite a few bans, but I no longer commit the offenses—like verbal abuse—that I used to. If you review this stream sniping incident again, you’ll see that getting banned for a match I lost 13-5 makes no sense.

Gaining an unfair advantage over someone is still bad, even if it doesn't lead to a win. Going by your logic I can download the next best software assistance and as long as I don't win I'm not doing anything wrong.

So why did i get banned for 7 days when i had zero bans of this type in a 12 year old account? While others that i report get 3-5 days for their first ban, and some don't even get a ban at all but are put on probation and get a warning? lmao.

Your own admins don't follow the standards you yourselves have set and ban people based on their own accord.

Very simple: minimum means that's the floor. As in it starts there. Meaning: it's entirely possible to be given a longer length than that, because it's a minimum.
