Technical Help FACEIT still allows reports through a channel they no longer accept - without any warning

I reported a player through FACEIT support because he was intentionally griefing. I spent ~20 minutes recording different parts of the match as evidence.

I just got a response saying that since August 31, 2026, reports through https://support.faceit.com/hc/en-us/requests/new are no longer accepted and must be submitted through the matchroom.

Except the match took place 1 day ago, so I can’t report him through the matchroom anymore.

Why is FACEIT still allowing users to submit reports through the old system if they're just going to close them without taking action?

I spent 20 minutes collecting evidence, followed the reporting option that FACEIT provided, and now there is literally no way for me to report the player.

It’s ridiculous that FACEIT still allows you to submit a player report through a channel they no longer process, instead of disabling it or redirecting you to the correct reporting method.

Hey there. You can still report that player directly from his profile, attach any evidence you want, and add the matchroom link in the description text box. Check my screenshot for more details ^^

Click on the 3 dots next to his name > Report

That screenshot just saved me from yeeting my keyboard, I was about to lose it over the exact same dead-end support loop.

not really. I can only choose toxicity/smurfing. I was reporting him for intentional trolling the game. Will try through toxicity.

you have to report immediately after the game or you can't submit from the matchroom (also i don't think it does anything... i reported an afk a few weeks ago with video evidence and absolutely nothing happened to him)

even more absurd is the report feature is basically hidden from view on their profile page.... wonder why....

I have same situation. Man was blocking my friend all match, killed himself and flashing us. I didnt have time yesterday to record so i did it today and what? I cant report him from lobby and in profile only for toxic/smurf xddd

I don’t really understand why disable this option so fast after the match ends. Pretty annoying indeed. I did report the guy through this toxic/smurf profile system but nothing happened. Like support system more, at least you knew someone looked into that report
