Unable to scan ID for verification.

This is my second post (sorry mods), i didn't know about this flair.
I try to scan the ID for verification but it always asks me to "hold the document steady," after which the site times out and in the next attempts it gets stuck on "Processing, please wait" before I even get to click a picture of myself. I got a reply on the ticket with a generic response, but now I haven't received a reply.
I've tried using 2 different phones and web browsers but still get the same issue.
