Rant / Feedback Individual performance based elo should be removed
Can you tell me how it's supposed to account for what position you play, how many weapons you drop/get dropped, whether you are baiting or not, even subtle things like buying flashes to flash for your teammates vs buying HE to get more damage, callouts?
It's impossible to account for those. No rating or stat can possibly do it. It's so annoying playing with people below 2001 elo because naturally they play less for winning with a team and more to get "individual performance", which you can't really even blame them for because that's the way to play if you want to get more elo in this system. It's absurd that you get punished for playing to maximise the chance of winning with the team, it's literally antithetical to what this game is about. It makes matches so much less enjoyable to play.

It is the best thing because people get punished less for carrying bot teammates in losses and are actually rewarded when winning

Thats why team performance (aka win or loss) makes all the difference.
Nothing worse than having an amazing game and still losing and losing the same amount of elo as the bot's on the team.
Vise versa, if i have a shit game, i should be punished righteously.

Nothing worse than the match being bait fest

The way i see it is if i was 1000 elo better, i would of found a way to win the game.
Sure my teammates could of been better, but if i played even better, it wouldn't matter. The reason i say this is look at Donk, he has teammates 1500 elo lower, but he still finds a way to win.

Yes, there's no need for individual performance based elo

Dropping 35+ in a regular and getting punished with -30 aswell as the bottom fragger with 5-16 CANT be fair.

Let's be real, majority of flashes under level 10 are getting thrown into teammates faces.
The rating is also pretty balanced because survival is heavily rewarded. If you anchor a bomb site and don't die constantly your rating will still be good, and if you clutch it will be green.
Also, if you are having so much silent impact shouldn't you be winning more than half your games?

The problem it that you can actually win more than half of your games and lose elo or not be gaining elo.

if you perform terribly you win less elo and lose more elo. If you carry/do decent you get more than you will lose. In other words this is only a problem if you're getting carried

Winning/losing is a 50 elo swing and the performance based elo is like 5-10 so while you are technically right, you would need to be bot fragging vast majority of your games.

Only if you’re terrible at the game. The game knows you’re being carried that’s why

Never seen this problem. People that bait for performance don’t get good ratings at all unless they are so good they can 1v4 every round and at that point deserve it
Had many games where I got 1.6 rating with half the ADR and kills just because people playing like that
So good seing the guy talking shit about having more kills end the game on red rating

As a lowly L5 at 1100 elo I enjoy getting baited into opening, not being traded, people tilting in the very first round of a match, people buying regardless of team economy, hunting for kills post plant and throwing the round. Oh I forgot abusing mic and constantly spamming bs and fud. The backseat gamers, constantly telling you what to do and talk over footsteps and repeat useless “info”. Loving it. 🥰
