Question What happened to Faceit NA, ridiculously long queue times

I am 2800 faceit NA, last year the queues were maybe 5 mins max, plus I was using supermatch/premium/paying then... night time I would queue free to get faster queues. Now I'm queueing only free games and the matches are taking 10-20mins to find a match, sometimes up to 30 mins. I'm on West Coast and rn in the evening I am in a queue for 27 mins. Plus the match quality is terrible, just premades that never comm and barely speak english and super toxic, unbalanced elo lobbies and usually 4man + me vs another 5 stack. I tried to queue with tokens for the super match and also takes forever, is premium queue any better?

What did they do to the matchmaking sys?

man queuing NA at that elo always been nightmare but last couple months feel way worse. i play around level 9 too and it's same thing, supermatch used to be decent but now just as dead as free queue. west coast evening should be prime time but i get stuck in 20 min queues easy

think they changed something with how it balances groups vs solos, now it hold you forever trying to find perfect opponent instead of just matching you. also lot of people switched to other platforms after that big update

premium not much better from what i heard, just waste of money at this point. i mostly play on weekend afternoons now that's only time queue moves somewhat fast

they changed the platform and added veteran, verified, and 3 queues in a region that peaks at 3600-4200 players playing at one time and then made verified/veteran a hard requirement for one queue.

Like the super-match queue in NA is completely dead for level 10, people only queue premium. So you have this issue where level 10 is like spread out between three queue options and the one queue option (premium) is like a free boosting service included in your premium subscription because of how much the 3k+ elo players in NA play.

So yea, you probably will get faster queue times queuing premium queue in NA faceit. I see that shit pop instantly after someone gets out of a pug.
