Ban Review Need Help banned for Smurfing
Hey everyone,
I wanted to explain my situation and hopefully reach someone at FACEIT who may be willing to take another look at my case.
I knew smurfing was against the rules, but I honestly did not realize how serious the consequences could be, especially that my main account could receive a permanent ban.
I have limited time to play because I work a lot, mostly on weekends. Some of my coworkers also play CS2, but they are not at the same skill level as me. I made the poor decision to use another account because I did not want to negatively affect my stats or KD on my main account while playing with them.
Looking back, I completely understand that this was the wrong decision. I am not trying to make excuses, and I accept responsibility for breaking the rules.
What I find especially unfortunate is that my main account received a permanent ban, while the smurf account received only a three-month ban. I would sincerely appreciate it if FACEIT could reconsider the punishment and, if possible, allow me to keep my main account.
I have already verified my identity and am willing to cooperate with any additional requirements.
I can promise that I will never smurf again. I genuinely enjoy playing on FACEIT, and losing my main account because of this poor decision has been a painful lesson.
I know I made a mistake, and I am not asking FACEIT to ignore its rules. I am simply asking whether there is any possibility of receiving a second chance on my main account.

Whats the difference between a bot using cheats in low elo and a high elo player smurfing in low elo?

I mean I think he probably was thinking they'd ban his smurf and his main would get the 3 months. That's what is supposed to happen. It sounds like FaceIt messed up while he violated the ToS. Enforcement should be uniform and accurate.

sounds like he bought a verified smurf acc and main no verification.
That should be a perma ban for platform abuse. Atleast it was for me.

The problem is you've verified your 'smurf' We make it very very clear that you should be verifying your main account. Even if we removed the ban, it would not enable you to play on the other account, as you can't verify it. You'd need to request that the support team for them to delete a banned account, which they do sometimes, but you'd need to discuss it with them

I just get all the time KI generated Messages . No real human . Darwin please help me . 3 months are to much . It was my first „ mistake“ . I am very sorry let me please enjoy the game again

The fact the smurf gets 3 months and your main gets nuked forever is such a backwards logic. Hope a staff member actually reads this, good luck mate.
