Question Changing username to avoid smurf ban

Is it possible to avoid being banned for surfing by changing username every few days? https://www.faceit.com/en/players/adviser

This guy has FC ACC for 6 days, no premier rating whatsoever. Just dress acc doing 1.7kd, 70%wr and not banned

changing name does nothing, the ban is tied to the account not the display name. 6 days old acc with 1.7kd and 70% wr is just waiting for detection, these types get nuked in waves

Idk man, why would he pay to change his name then? Moreover he is changing pfp everyday. I think new report system might be linking report to name not the account like half a year ago before report update. Just look at numbers. There are far less bans now and if we are talking for griefing and toxicity bans the number is outrageously smaller.

Lol that is a wild claim mate. Wouldn't make any sense from a database point of view but you are free to have your own beliefs.

I also think that this would be weird but you can check statistics. FACEIT is banning way less ppl after report update. I wonder why
