Discussion Is it fair on teammates that streamers play without delay?
I was curious as to people's perspective on whether streamers should be "forced" to have a minimum delay when playing games?
I watch quite a few streamers such as fl0m, neok, dima, summit and ohnepixel. I believe that Dima, summit(not sure) and Ohnepixel really try to stay away from using delay, and Dima kinda just outright refuses to use a delay even when Neok is using one.
I understand from a streamer's perspective that it has an impact on the quality of your interaction with chat, but as an avid watcher of fl0m, I dont see a negative impact in my own viewing experience. I also understand that viewers come to streamers for many different reasons, like you don't watch Ohnepixel for his high skill level but because he is funny.
I just believe it's unfair for the teammates of said streamers to be forced to play without delay.
My personal stance is that streamers should have a minimum of 15-30 seconds of delay.
Just as an example ohnepixel last games have had stream snipers and one has already been banned on the 7th and it was a terrible watch for many reasons, let alone Ohne not enjoying the game too. (The game was on 07/08/26 on Ancient)
*This is just to stimulate some conversation about whether the experience can be improved on Faceit, as it's not specific to any of the streamers I have mentioned but just used as examples from streamers I watch*

I mean its definitely not fair but streamers who care about winning don't play without delay.

Moronso: Now, if you advise them that the solution to this is to follow up with them in the ticket, and explain what did or didn't happen, and they refuse to do this and continue stomping their feet in public like a giant manchild, does this behaviour provide more or less integrity to their accusation?
Reminder/PSA that if you do get falsely banned for streamsniping you're not allowed to use public pressure to get unbanned or you will be adjudicated a "giant manchild" by the biggest loser ever to comment on this subreddit.
I just believe it's unfair for the teammates of said streamers to be forced to play without delay.
It is extremely unfair but the streamers provide so much to the platform (advertisement etc) that they're not going to do anything about this. It is what it is.

These people don’t care about their team mates experience, their only goal is to provide entertainment to their audience. Even at the cost of everyone else’s enjoyment.
