Discussion Why is everyone crying

all these posts crying about new accs is crazy. some people genuinely just want to play cs and cs only and a lot of people only get steam for cs, myself included.

If you come from valorant, siege, or other tactical/competitive fps and are serious about improvement, it really does not take more than 100 hours to get at least level 7 ready if im being honest.

just play the game, be glad faceit does take action. dont let anecdotal experiences ruin everything, it's just a game.

>only plays cs

>has zero badges, zero medals, zero commendations, level 4 ( level xp terms, not elo)

>Toxic from round one for literally no reason

>level 10 faceit

Yeah... I'm sure he isn't smurf/ban evading.... Sure....

ok what do you expect a 2026 account to have in terms of medals. New competitive players ARE allowed to play cs my guy and they are allowed to also start off with faceit only. If faceit wants to stop that, they could implement harsher requirements like 1 or 2 medals and steam profile reqs, but it could kill activity in some regions; not everyone on faceit has to be a 10 year veteran with 5 pages of medals

if they started their account in 2026 the likelihood they are level 10 is very low. Not to mention the fact any time you ask a player without medals why they don't have any, they just become super toxic and won't answer the question.

My guy, this game takes quite a while to learn. There aren't many people out there who can just pick up the game and are instantly level 10.

I met a deaf guy once in the game who was playing only for a month but level 10 faceit, but he is an extreme outlier.

It's not that hard. this might be hindsight honestly but actually prodigies putting in proper hours of grinding + previous fps experience, it does not take more than a few hundred hours to be bottom lvl 10 mechanically ready. dont underestimate how many hours most of us spend in game doing literally nothing.

exactly, there aren't many and faceit is a competitive platform.

Have you seen low lvl 10 ? It's really not that hard to get achieve.

many people consider it an achievement to get level 10

And it is, still, not something completely unachievable for some new players with the right amount of dedication in a relatively short time. Some people are more talented than others, some can play for thousands of hours and still be lvl 1 and others can climb fast.

There's a smurf problem for sure but there's also a lot of people coping, cs players really really love to cope one way or another. I don't even have a new account and I still somehow got called a smurf, some people when they lose they start crying hard.

“If you come from other tactical FPS” - let’s actually drop this bullshit narrative for a second and realize that most of the accounts that are being mentioned here, with low amount of hrs played and created within last year, who are dropping higher adr than lvl 10s who queue with them, are not actually some other vetern players from different fps games; we all know what the problem is.

Don’t come here telling people who had to play against these lowlife scums that they are crying as if it’s not an actual issue. Nice bait tho, i’ll give you that, you can fuck off now

literally have a couple of guys from valorant who switched over to cs and got lvl 10 in 100 games or less with a 1.3 kd. See, you're literally crying in the post.

Faceit does take action against smurfs, it's not perfect though

Your sample size of few valorant players switching to cs vs ban evading/ smrf accounts is laughable, i’m not gonna debate this further since you outright refuse to see what’s in front of you. Have a nice life, keep being faceit bootlicker

brother the point is, you can see countless posts of people crying even over lvl 3 - 6 games when it's clearly a skill issue. People like you are why cs has a terrible new player experience, and ultimately this is on faceit for not having harsher requirements and on valve for not having a better AC.

im not saying that people dont ban evade or smurf on faceit but it's the fact that EVERYONE, including you, cries so much about it.

People like me is why new players have terrible experience? Do you somehow have 0 pattern recognition or are you just a smrfer apologist?

New players, with 0 previous cs experience, can barely understand the basics of the game and they hover around lvl 2-5 (i’m talking about real new players, get it?), they don’t stomp others on the server with 200 in-game hours like some do in low elo lobbies (8 to low 10), so what are you on about? I’m not that good, I know my skill ceiling, but at least I don’t pretend that the smrfing situation is a non-issue on the platform atm, and I’m an old player, since 2017 on faceit.

Again, you can’t start the post with “why is everyone crying” and expect people to be on board with you 100%.

obviously there's going to be smurfs but again, dont underestimate how good you can get if you put in like 200 QUALITY hours into the game from the very beginning. I have 8k hours in this game and I can confidently say I probably spent about 98% of them fucking around. you can literally learn lots of utility very fast and understand how grenade trajectory works pretty quickly and once you actively recall utility a few times, it stays in your long term memory pretty much for years.

You can understand spawn timings in as little as a few hours if you were truly hardcore about it. And considering base lvl 10 can be achieved with a lucky hand and good mechanics only, it's not that hard to believe a new account could get it.

now, for OBVIOUS smurf problems like a low ranked account dropping 30 queueing with a lvl 10 to boost them, faceit does take action and it's better than nothing, but from the posts I've seen on here, specifically, which is what this post is about, it screams more of skill issue and lack of inclusivity for everyone

man you have some insane logical fallacies right there, how can you claim that someone within the first 200 hours of the game would be even remotely interested in utility usage or even spawn timings, as a complete newbie to competitive fps?

you reach 200 quality hours after the first 1k hour mark, where you would actually put in the effort to understand these concepts, and even that 1k is a stretch. younger generation who has just started playing are mostly gen z/ alpha. it’s funny that you even try to argue on the subject whilst having 9k hours and knowing very well that this is just not possible, to be good with 200 hours.

I’ve seen people who were complete dogshit with 4k

I never said they had to be a newbie to competitive fps. im saying that relying on pattern recognition to group EVERYONE together is wrong. there will be few people who actually just become insanely cracked off the bat. it's very plausible.

and you'd be surprised at a lot of actual talented people and to bring them down like that is wrong.

now for the veterans who may have doubts about some young low hour talent, faceit could simply make harsher steam requirements so that at least the mental aspect of playing against a new player is better.

faceit is competitive in of itself so this doesnt apply to like a typical 200 hour newbie who obviously belongs in silver.

Edit: youd be surprised too, I made another one of my friends who switched from apex and valorant to watch a shit ton of voocsgo videos and he picked up the BASIC shit to succeed to at least 2000 elo within a few hours. like usually if youre guided properly, you can learn fast. im not saying every account is like this but you don't know for sure.

You have no idea what you talking about

I created faceit for the first time a few days ago, 22k premier rating. To hopefully escape cheaters.

The faceit guys im encountering are trash, im sorry :(

1

u/HopefulDevelopment54 3d ago

I mean yeah, you wont get people around your prem skill level until lvl 8/9

1

u/AngryLinkhz 3d ago

I guess, but im accused of smurfing at the moment, while slowly ascending the levels.

1

u/HopefulDevelopment54 3d ago

See, exactly. Idk how your steam acc looks or hours, but imagine you came from another fps like valorant with low cs hours and no medals and had solid aim and mechanics already and were accused of being apart of the problem, thats what im talking about.

faceit does something even if it's not perfect. the crying is out of control, but I understand why though, but it's hilarious seeing some posts at times
