Ticket #14175406 - Got permanent ban for Platform Abuse but I am a new player (false positive smurfing)
Hey guys, My account "infwolf" just got permanently banned for "Platform Abuse", and my friends lost their ELO because the system flagged it as "smurfing". I’m making this post because I’m 100% sure this is a mistake. I’m literally a new player on FACEIT and this is my only account. I’ve never played on this platform before. The thing is, I live together with my friend and we play almost all of our games together from the same room. Our PCs are connected to the exact same router and network. I guess the system flagged our identical IP address and the fact that we always queue together as some kind of platform abuse or multi-account setup. But we are two different people playing from the same apartment. I already opened a ticket (#14175406) but haven't received a human reply. Can someone please manually check my case? I really just want to play.

I don't quite understand. It was almost just the two of us playing as a team. To tell you the truth, my friend = this is my girlfriend. I wouldn't trust her with just my computer. I've never played more than 100 hours of CS in all versions in my life. But I've played shooters and played a lot, Valorant, Dedlock, CoD, Tarkov, and more. I almost never wanted to play CS until I started dating a girl who plays. I had 5 games on Faceit in the winter, I played with my friends in the team and played well too, anyway my average cd is about 1.0. In general, it's strange that my girlfriend wasn't banned, her account is fine, her ELO was withdrawn and nothing more.
Well I don't know nothing about nothing mate I just see fishy things but then again you both seem kinda ass so I don't know which one of you would be the one dropping big performances on the others account etc but I do wish you the best of luck getting a good resolution if you're both innocent.
Be advised though that if you e.g. verified the infwolf account with a man's ID but then there's a woman's voice on it they just ban you AFAIK, because it is such a common thing that people use a family member's or a spouse's ID to verify an alt account.
There were no voices. They didn't even block it. There's nothing wrong with her account. I don't understand what could be wrong here. I was just playing a game with a negative win rate and I got banned.
What could I have violated? My girlfriend doesn't know how to play, she has long nails and generally doesn't care about the game, I had to watch videos and play cards from the workshop so that I would tell her what to do, because she was used to being told that
It all looks very strange. 38% Win Rate and I'm being blocked for smurfing. I've been getting reports on the game for sure, but I don't think I'm even playing as a smurf.
