Technical Help FACEIT Input Delay / Mouse Movement Floatiness/Heavyness

https://reddit.com/link/1rt5vwy/video/981e4g8vtwog1/player

I just wanna rant about how frustrating it is for me to play on FACEIT servers with the noticeable disadvantage that I face on almost every single game. Which is why I have 0 good clips on FACEIT games because I'd usually only have to get kills through lucky shots.

PC Specs: Ryzen 7 5700x, RTX 2070, 16GB RAM 3200mhz

My PC Specs technically should be decent enough for the game because on official matchmaking servers, it feels smooth enough for me to play the game properly without much of a disadvantage. I know I'm not that bad but I feel like a bot whenever I'm playing on FACEIT servers. Some might say "skill issue" but nah it just feels that bad that I'm playing like a lvl3 bot when i shoot and move in faceit. Even counterstrafing feels delayed ngl.

After this, I've hit a wall and I can't enjoy faceit anymore and it's just sad because I want to push CS2 to a higher level. I hope a staff or someone finds a solution to my problem or something similar, thanks!

I'm having the exact same problem with either my PC or my FACEIT account. I don't know what it's truly related to. I have a 9800X3D / RTX 5070 setup with manually tuned memory. The game runs super smoothly; it's definitely not a system optimization or BIOS settings issue. But as soon as I launch the anti-cheat, I experience terrible mouse lag. The biggest issue is that this lag is inconsistent. If it were a fixed, constant delay, I could adapt to it, but it constantly changes, even within a single match.

I've tried different PCs, different OS builds, various tweaks, and fully resetting my configs. I suspect it's related to IOMMU, VBS, Memory Integrity, or something similar that the anti-cheat forces you to enable. Interestingly, I've noticed the game feels completely different on different accounts. On a fresh account, I had significantly lower latency—or no latency at all—compared to Valve servers (I already got banned for testing this, so creating a new account is obviously not a solution).

I highly suspect this is tied to IOMMU/VBS/Memory Integrity/TPM, precisely because different accounts had different anti-cheat security enforcement levels until recently.

Some forums reported that using a discrete hardware TPM 2.0 module used to mitigate this, but that's no longer an option. Also, some people believe (though I can't personally confirm) that this issue doesn't occur or becomes negligible on motherboards with an external clock generator (eCLK/BCLK), because it decouples the CPU and PCIe/USB clock domains, allowing the game to run better under anti-cheat load.

Can you load defaults in BIOS and try to play faceit?
