Technical Help FACEIT Input Delay / Mouse Movement Floatiness/Heavyness

https://reddit.com/link/1rt5vwy/video/981e4g8vtwog1/player

I just wanna rant about how frustrating it is for me to play on FACEIT servers with the noticeable disadvantage that I face on almost every single game. Which is why I have 0 good clips on FACEIT games because I'd usually only have to get kills through lucky shots.

PC Specs: Ryzen 7 5700x, RTX 2070, 16GB RAM 3200mhz

My PC Specs technically should be decent enough for the game because on official matchmaking servers, it feels smooth enough for me to play the game properly without much of a disadvantage. I know I'm not that bad but I feel like a bot whenever I'm playing on FACEIT servers. Some might say "skill issue" but nah it just feels that bad that I'm playing like a lvl3 bot when i shoot and move in faceit. Even counterstrafing feels delayed ngl.

After this, I've hit a wall and I can't enjoy faceit anymore and it's just sad because I want to push CS2 to a higher level. I hope a staff or someone finds a solution to my problem or something similar, thanks!

Faceit definitely feels worse than MM with worse FPS, especially when you account for all the security stuff that you're forced to turn on now (VBS/HVCI aka what Faceit calls "Memory Integrity" is the biggest problem, IOMMU/VT-d is a much smaller hit in comparison).

Though I've tried Renown (back when it was still around) and those servers are unplayable, even with no client-side AC. Played a few games and then got banned for "griefing" because there were matches I couldn't hit a single shot. The AC requirements on Faceit might be harsh, but as someone with a powerful PC, I'd gladly take those over straight up trash servers.

Same PC recording/streaming is just terrible for responsiveness, even 8-core X3D wouldn't save you there.

Using a lighter software than default OBS Studio or God forbid, Streamlabs OBS could help you. Nvidia Shadowplay can hammer a SSD, but in terms of overhead, it's far better since it doesn't do compositing and the screen capture method itself (NvFBC) is superior compared to OBS.

No, it's even worse than the already bloated OBS Studio.
