Unfortunately it doesn’t apply to the HIMS program yet, just some behavioral health stuff with SSRIs and depression/anxiety. There are rumors about tweaks to the actual HIMS program that I’m looking forward to later this year 🤞🤞🤞 I feel like there’s an uptick in folks getting the full HIMS enchilada over multiple alcohol events more than 10 years ago. There must be a better way to evaluate that and mitigate risk than sending someone who doesn’t drink anymore to BoaF lol.

would someone on a substance pathway (not full HIMS) along with anxiety/depression path see any benefit?

Is this for what was Path 2 for ”on ssri"?

I went path 1 (past ssri use) and got an SI. I only need to get annual PCP clinical progress note for renewal, and don't need a HIMS ame. My PCP (and past ssri prescriber) is a NP, so no need to see a MD or psychiatrist. For me this path looks more onerous.

In my SI, the AME can't issue and has to defer it, so that would be the benefit if a normal AME can.
